BIO: Grant is, in his words “sort of in charge of stuff” but doesn’t seem to take the responsibility too seriously. He has been with YCFM since the very start, when we first came to the Young Carers Festival in 2002. Back then we were called Express FM and our studio, well, it was on a rickerty table in the corner of a tent on the front lawn. How things have moved on since then.
Grant has been a radio presenter since he was just 16 years old. Working at stations up and down the country. Not only does he present radio shows, but proivdes voice overs too. You might hear him on the BBC or at Ripleys Believe it or not in London. Grant runs his own company, Special Media Projects, that specialise in building radio stations for schools, HD film production and using media (like radio and television) for special purposes, like YCFM, education and product awareness and sales.
